There are two key personal attributes that is health and beauty. A number of people like to prefer beauty more than health, as in their view good looks are more imperative than the health. This class of propensity is adopted by media and film industry. A great number of actors, actresses, and directors desire to have good looks in front of camera.
Like wise, the actors from theatre desire their on-stage beauty. On occasions, the stage actresses wear on so chunky makeup that they look like a Martian. Otherwise, using the reasonable amount of make up gives them a great feel of charisma and appeal.
People in the film and stage industry use creative make-up to improve their looks. They have to do this as an essential part of their professional lives. There is a huge variety of makeup available for these people. There are, however, three main types of makeup that is used in both the stage and film industries.
Basic
As the name says it all the Basic; this is the makeup that compose an all-purpose upkeep in looks. The subjects are layered with a foundation or face powder. Normally, this covering is used to safeguard their skins from the strong lights. Face powder is also used to stop the course of skin oils that can otherwise harm the skin and ruin the makeup of any actor. While in films, the procedure of powerful lights measuring in thousands of watts is necessary. This is the most usual type of make up for the stage actors if they are doing unfussy roles. While for main roles, they need a heavy nature makeup.
Correctional
This correctional makeup is frequently used in film. As we can figure out from the name itself, correctional makeup is used to eliminate any defects and facial features that can harm the on-screen charisma of an actor. As per makeup artists no face is perfect until it passes through the specialized hands of a creative makeup artiste.
People can hide any flaws, including facial hairs, acne, warts and cuts by adding extra layers of makeup. In stage acting, correctional makeup is less common than films. The major reason behind this practice is the minimal exposure of stage actors to common people. They only cater to a selected audience in a theatre.
Character
This is the trickiest chore for a film and stage makeup artists. Creative makeup is essential to modify an actor's facial and body features. This kind of make up usually requires an advanced preparation and long contemplation is involved with the creative makeup artists. They suggest about the features desired for that exacting character and try to come up with inventive thoughts.
Character makeup might involve heavy correctional makeup with face painting and extra doses of face powder. Water based makeup is applied on face and body to match the required features of the character. Often times, actors have to undergo extreme discomfort, as they have to put on wax and other materials to look older, maimed or diseased. A good creative makeup artist, however, can reduce their agonies by applying a better form of makeup.
