How do I mount my projector if I have a drop ceiling?
The other answers are basic, but none of them frankly say that you need ceiling projector suitable for mounting your projector. Mounts dropped ceilings are specific to - see the link - but can be expensive. Really all you need is a universal holder with a rod long enough to attach the top plate to the beams above the ceiling fall and let the projector to be attached to the mount at a suitable height below the ceiling. A ceiling tile had to then cut the rod to the ceiling by stabbing and reinstalled, or a plasterboard ceiling opened sufficiently to provide access for assembly and then patched or the hole covered with a suitable plate. As mentioned in other answers you need the weight of the projector, consider mounting bolt pattern and the routing of the connecting wires and power.
